Corey Womack grew up in Rural, North-Eastern Arkansas. He went to college at the University of Central Arkansas where he earned B.A.'s in Digital Filmmaking and Broadcast Journalism. He worked on countless short films such as "Drug Testing," "Touch of Flesh," "Decaf," "Storage," and several others. His undergraduate work culminated in the completion of the short, "The Last Summer" which earned him his minor in Interdisciplinary Studies from the UCA Honors College. In 2010 Corey was accepted to the Florida State University Film School's MFA in Writing for the Stage and Screen. He spent the next two years working on dozens of short films, including two thesis films -- "Anya" and "The Winter." Corey's work on three feature scripts, as well as his dedication to the film school while at FSU, earned him the Matt Lopez Screenwriting award upon completion of the program.
