Elizabeth Alice Gray is a Prime Time Emmy Award winning producer for the CNN documentary series, United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell. She also holds a Best Documentary nomination from the National Association of Minorities in Cable for her work co-producing the A&E production of Ishi Last of His Kind. Described by her colleagues as the research queen" and deal whisperer, Gray has put in over 10 thousand production hours on series television and documentaries as an archival producer. As a writer, Gray scripted the radio documentary, about jazz legend Paul Whiteman. She is also a published and produced playwright for musicals and plays having held several prestigious play writing residencies including the Mark Taper Forum. She is also a former member of the Warner Brothers Television Writer's workshop. In addition to producing and writing, Gray also performs comedy and writes music. Her music can be found on Amazon, Spotify, Pandora, NPR and the Dr. Demento Show. She's appeared in countless commercials and performed in dozens of short films that have played festivals throughout the United States. Gray is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Producer's Guild, and the Writer's Guild of America.
