James Colmer

Born 1967 in England, James Colmer holds a B.A Degree in Fine Art as well as Certificates in Commercial Art & Design, 3D Computer graphics and Sound & Lighting. He has worked in the Entertainment industry since 1988, moving into Feature Films in 1994, and then in 1995 opened one of Australia's largest Special Effects Studios. During that time he has worked with many of the Film, Television and Music Industry's top professionals and actors/producers and has played a key role as consultant to the Theme Park Industry, helping to design and build some of Australia's most well known attractions. James has personally worked on over 140 projects including Superman Returns, House of Wax, See No Evil, Aquamarine, Space:Above and Beyond, Streetfighter, and many more. He specializes in Conceptual Design, Art Direction, Advanced Photoshop Artwork and Matte Painting for Feature Films TV Series, Commercials and Advertising. He is married with two children and available to work on any productions.
