With roots in South Africa, Lesotho, Ghana, France, and the USA, Mpho Osei-Tutu is a multi-award-winning actor and writer. In a career spanning 20 years, he has worked on projects for HBO, BET, BBC, Endemol, and The Discovery Channel; with an array of acclaimed people including Disney's "Rise" director, Akin Omotoso, and Fox's "9-1-1" director, Jann Turner. He was a writer for the 2010 Emmy-nominated "Hopeville" and a series regular on the 2007 Emmy-nominated "Home Affairs". As a writer, Mpho works across a variety of genres and is especially passionate about comedy. He has credits in sketch TV, late-night talk shows, award ceremonies, sitcoms, drama series, and films.
