Christopher L. Hodapp (b.1958) is an American author and commercial filmmaker, known for his writings about Freemasonry, fraternalism, the Knights Templar, secret societies and conspiracy theories. Between 1984 and 2006 he was a commercial filmmaker with Dean Crow Productions in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he edited hundreds of television commercials and feature films. As an uncredited voiceover artist, he has appeared in numerous broadcast productions and commercials. In 2005 he wrote the book, 'Freemasons For Dummies,' the world's bestselling guide to the Masonic fraternity. Since then he has appeared in numerous documentary programs as an author and researcher, and he has written several other books about 'secret societies,' conspiracies and the medieval Knights Templar. In 2019 he became the Associate Director of the Masonic Library and Museum of Indiana. He has been married to author Alice Von Kannon since 1978 and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.
