Selma Al-Faqih started as an assistant to the director at Folger Shakespeare theatre and the National Cathedral School in Washington DC as a teenager. This early experience developed a love for theatre, which translated itself into a love for all of the performing arts. After graduating from the Corcoran School of Art, she moved to Los Angeles and graduated Cum Laude from Columbia College, Hollywood. The bulk of her career has been working on Television shows including Ugly Betty, The Chris Isaac Show, and Joan of Arcadia. She has been the director of photography and producer on many short films, as well as the feature film 'Bandwagon' which won the audience award for best new filmmakers at the Long Beach film festival. She also works as a producer and director of operations at The Ski Channel.
