Paolo Martini is a director and producer born in Carrara. After his studies at University of Southern California Los Angeles, he graduates in Art Direction at IED in Milan and starts his career in advertising working for important agencies and clients as Mazda, Vichy, Bmw. Later he moves to Rome and starts working in post production for Rai, Mediaset and Sitcom, writing and directing his first shorts. They are premiered at Oberhausen and Clermont-Ferrand and win several international awards finding national DVD distribution with Medusa. The shorts have been presented also at the special event World Youth Alliance at UN offices in New York. In 2011 he works in the movie "Tropic of blood" by J. Delancer, starring Michelle Rodriguez. In 2013 he works as creative producer in the film "One more time" by K. Kasoof, with Lucia Bosé and Magaly Solier, winning best screenplay award at San Marino Film Festival. The film is sold and distributed by House of Film in Los Angeles. In 2017 he co-produces "The last night" by F. Barozzi, premiered at the 36 Torino Film Festival and at the 40 Cairo Film Festival. The film wins several prices such as the Golden Dragon Award at the Ferrara Film Festival. In 2019 he writes, produces and directs "Anja-Real Love Girl", a psychological thriller in the mood of "The machinist". The work is a collaboration with Pablo Benedetti. In 2019 he writes and directs "The Relic", proof of concept for the movie "A thousand dogs' village", political thriller/drama with Marcello Prayer, Giobbe Covatta, Giacomo Rizzo and Francesco Paolantoni about modern social corruption.
