Rick Morris is the producer, writer and director of White Men Can't Rap, a comedy feature film shot in 35mm in 2004. The movie won a Best Feature Film Award in 2005 at the Philadelphia Film Festival. The slapstick film features veteran actor Clifton Powell (Ray, Next Friday) and John Canada Terrell (She's Gotta Have It, The Five Heartbeats). While negotiations were taking place for distribution, the film ran short of funding and post-production was put on hold. The producers recently returned to the project and are now seeking finishing funds to prepare White Men Can't Rap for release in 2020. In 1995, Mr. Morris produced Closed Doors: The Integration of Baseball. The film won the Robert Peterson Award from the Society for American Baseball Research for excellence in baseball research. Rick's company, Fleet Walker Productions, has been delivering videos for Fortune 500 companies for the past 20 years.
