Bill Whirity is an American film director, writer, and woodworker from Chicago, IL. He studied Directing and Screenwriting at Columbia College where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Film and Television. After moving to Los Angeles, Whirity began sneaking into classes at the American Film Institute. During that time he shot his unofficial "thesis film," an 80s Amblin style short about a boy inventor entitled "The MisInventions of Milo Weatherby" which went on to play at festivals around the world, earning a few awards along the way. His recent productions include the ultra-short horror film "Semblance," the first episode of the AwesomenessTV Halloween series "Flhaunt," and most recently, his short film "Prey" which appeared on the 2019 BloodList as a Fresh Blood Select.
