Aaron Karo (KAY-ro) is a #1 New York Times bestselling author, comedian, and TV writer who has developed sitcoms for CBS, 20th Century Fox, MTV, Warner Brothers, and The CW, as well as an animated series for Comedy Central starring Channing Tatum, a live-action series for Comedy Central starring DJ Dillon Francis, and an animated series for TBS with Tom DeLonge of Blink-182. His books include "Me You Us" (Simon & Schuster), "Lexapros and Cons" (Farrar, Strauss and Giroux), "I'm Having More Fun Than You" (HarperCollins), "Ruminations on College Life" (Simon & Schuster), and "Ruminations on Twentysomething Life" (Simon & Schuster). He is also the co-author of the #1 New York Times bestseller "The Hidden Power of F*cking Up." Karo has headlined the Nokia Theatre and Gramercy Theatre in New York, the Wilbur Theatre in Boston, and the House of Blues in Chicago. Comedy Central Records released his debut stand-up album "Just Go Talk to Her" in 2008. He has performed on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," and in 2010 he starred in his own one-hour Comedy Central special "Aaron Karo: The Rest Is History." His third album "I Need to Tell You Something" was released in 2012 and his fourth album "Charm/Offensive" was released in 2015. Born and raised in Plainview, New York, Karo graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His career began when he wrote a funny email from his freshman dorm room that eventually spawned the celebrated column Ruminations.
