Johnson Yuen

Born into a family with long operatic tradition, Johnson Yuen has been fascinated by the art of stage performance from childhood. He began to perform Cantonese operas at the age of seven, once making the record of performing over 280 shows within a year. Later on, he joined the movie and TV industries and played the roles of MC, TV and movie actor, announcer, drama performer, and stage producer. He was invited by the internationally famous director Ang Lee to act in the movie 'Lust, Caution'. Over the years he actively participates in the performance of cross-sectoral media including Cantonese operas, movies, TV shows and stage shows as well as their front-stage and back-stage production, suggesting his broad knowledge and involvement in traditional as well as contemporary production fields by absorbing and integrating the preforming art and production essence of various media.
