Born in Knoxville, Tennessee. Tommy attended Millsaps College (Masters of Business) and University of Mississippi (Law School). Also studied in London, Munich, Vienna, and Buenos Aires. While studying in Mississippi, Tommy competed in college level baseball and rugby. His first taste of acting occurred when he took part in the play Cactus Flower. Before moving to Los Angeles and pursuing an acting career, Tommy worked as a Health and Safety consultant in the Nuclear industry.
