Snider served as Chairman and CEO of Twentieth Century Fox from June 2017 until its acquisition by Disney in April 2019. Before that she served as the Co-Chairman/CEO of DreamWorks. And, from 1999 to 2006, she was Chairman of Universal Pictures. In addition to having an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. Snider is also a 1985 graduate of the UCLA School of Law. After graduation she decided against practicing law and went directly into the production end of the entertainment business. Because of her rise to the top of what is considered a "male dominated" industry, Ms. Snider was honored as the UCLA School of Law Alumnus of the Year.
