Stun Siva, born as Siva Kumar in Chennai, started his stunt career at the young age of 19 as a Stunt Man. His stunt idols were Bruce Lee in the beginning and Jackie Chan later. His love for action movies and passion for dare devil stunts brought him to the movies when he had only finished his Junior college education. His first movie as Stunt man was an average movie called Anbukattalai in 1989. His first hit movie was En Raasavin Manasile in 1991 and this helped him move a bit higher in his career graph. Years went on and he was doing pretty well for a Stunt man with various directors in different languages making up more than 65 movies. Stun Siva did not consider this time duration as a setback, but a training boot camp to train himself of Martial Arts and many of the stunt forms. At this time he joined Mr. Peromal Thun, a Vietnamese Martial Artist to learn the art form and this is where he met Mr. Thun's daughter, Lany who also happened to be teaching the Vietnamese martial art to students at that time and both eventually got married in 1997. It was 1996, he became a Stunt Director, in the movie Love Today (Tamil), becoming responsible to compose his own stunts and got an opportunity to show his talent and stunt skills. That year became an important milestone in his career, that he got to do another Telugu movie called Subhakankshalu in the same year as Stunt Director. And, then there was no looking back and today Stun Siva is a name to reckon with dare devil and mind blowing stunts in Indian movie industry. In 2000, he won his first Tamil Nadu State Award for best Stunt choreography came for the movie Kannukul Nilavu (Tamil) (2000). In 2008, he received the prestigious IIFA award (The International Indian Film Academy) for his stunt direction for the Hindi movie Ghajini. Stun Siva has officially changed his name to Andrew in 2011 and lives with his wife Lany and two sons Kevin and Steven Andrew in Chennai, India. He is now directing a Martial Art movie with his elder son Kevin Andrew and his wife Lany Andrew as lead actors and the movie is named as The Indian Karate Kid, which is under production and is scheduled to be released in the end of 2012. He is now working in the Telugu project titled Ratcha, which is under production starring Ram Charan Tej and Tamanna Bhatia and to be released in 2012. Some of his biggest hits include: Shivaji (Tamil) (2007), Vettaiyadu Vilayadu (Tamil) (2006), Chronic Bachelor (Malayalam) (2003), Hitler (Malayalam) (1997), Ghajini (Hindi) (2008), Billa (Telugu) (2009), Aadi (Telugu) (2002), Adhurs (Telugu) (2010), Laxmi (Telugu) (2006), Athidi (Telugu) (2007), Nanda (Tamil) (2001), Kavalan (Tamil) (2011), Naan Kadavul (Tamil) (2009), Insan (Hindi) (2005) etc.
