Akeem Smith is an American film, stage and television actor. A native of New York, Akeem grew up in Los Angeles where he began acting at the age of 16, training with Faith Acting Studios and later at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His various stage credits include playing music legend Smokey Robinson in "You're All I Need" and the titular character 'Romyo' in "Romyo and Julie Mae" at the Wilshire Ebell Theater. On television Akeem has made appearances on the television shows Grey's Anatomy, That's So Raven and CSI Miami. 2011 was a busy year for Akeem. He starred in the feature film Vile followed by co-starring opposite LisaRaye in the VH1 television movie Single Ladies, which became a TV series and had Akeem reprising his role of 'Woody' in a recurring appearance. In addition, Akeem also played the lead in the Teen Nick movie The Wonder Girls, produced by Nick Cannon acting alongside Korea's biggest pop group. Akeem is currently shooting a guest role on MTV's hit series Teen Wolf.
