Vyacheslav Dyomin was born in Moscow. His father Konstantin Feodorovich was born in v. Kurlyshevo the Ryazan region, occurred from the Ural Cossacks of Bogdanoffs (the representative of this cossack sort ataman Bogdanov ordered the Bashkir Cossack group which was at war against Bolsheviks in 1918-19); mother - nee Korzurina Vera Ilyinichna, from the Donskiye Cossacks of Tihonoffs, was born in Bryansk region, the veteran of the Soviet-German war. After the high school termination in 1977-79 Demin studied on 3-year-old courses of set dressers at a film studio "Mosfilm", in 1979-80 the set dresser of cinema studied in the Moscow art school on a speciality. Demin himself was a recipient of Teffi-2011 and 'Golden Rhino' in 2011 for the best work of an art director. Demin was art decorator in movies 'Perilous Friends' by Shamshurin in 1979, 'Velvet Season' by Pavlowic in 1978, 'Comedy of Liseastrat' by Rubinczyk in 1989 and others. Besides cinema and TV business during 80s Demin was working in theatre studios, illustrating books and magazines. Taught painting for students. Most of his paintings are in personal collections in Europe and USA.
