Gareth Haughton

Gareth was born in Manchester and started performing at high school. Gareth graduated from Oldham Sixth Form with A-Levels in Performing Arts and Drama, where he had directed and written various plays and cabarets to help keep him out of the bars. As a member of Mainstream Theatre Arts Gareth has performed in a variety of plays and musicals, including work for Manchester City Council for anti-drugs campaigns. Recent theatre credits include the Prince in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and the title role of Tom in Our Town, a new musical play which enjoyed successful seasons at the newly opened Mainstream Theatre in Manchester, and at the Millennium Dome in association with the Arts Council of Great Britain. His television credits include Coronation Street (1960), Emmerdale Farm (1972), City Central (1998) and Queer as Folk (1999).
