Frederic Lepage is a French writer and producer of several hundred documentaries, and scriptwriter and director of "Sunny and the Elephant", a feature film recently presented at the AFM (American Film Market, Los Angeles) in 2007, and released worldwide over 2008. As a novelist, Lepage wrote books that have been worldwide success. He also wrote several essays about various subjects such as science or politics, and an anthology of the most beautiful prayers in the world. As a producer, his avant-garde works reshaped documentaries through the use of both surnames to name the animals of his wildlife works and the use of famous artists (actors like John Hurt, Lambert Wilson, Pierre Arditi, singers like Anggun and composers like Joe Hisaishi) like in the worldwide success Untamed Africa or Genesis II. Frederic Lepage has been one of the four experts asked by the French Minister of Communication to develop the project of the Learning Channel that is now known as France 5.
