Matt McUsic graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a degree in Film and Television Production. Matt first received recognition with his short film "The Eulogist" - Winner of the OK Indies Film Festival (2000) and official nominee of the 2001 Damah Film Festival. He went on to direct the USC Award Winning short film "Revere" where he met fellow filmmakers Joe Lia, Stefan Karrer and Jean-Christophe Chamboredon. "Shamelove" marks an exciting feature directorial debut for Matt McUsic. With the film's premiere at the 2006 L.A. Indies Film Festival, "Shamelove" swept the awards - Winning Jury Selection for Best Feature, Best Supporting Actress (Natalie Avital), Best Debut Performance (Kristian Capalik), as well as garnering nominations in Best Actor and Best Director categories.
