Jorge Barrio

Born in Bilbao in 1973, studied Journalism in UPV (Basque Country University). He studied Film Direction in C.E.C.C. (Barcelona). In 2000 he shot "The Shadow of Peter Pan", his first short film in 35mm. Then he went back to Bilbao to teach cinema direction, screenplay and acting in a small film school. In 2004 he shot his second short film, "Tears of Light and Shadow", also in 35mm. In 2006 he founded his own film school, Kinema School of Cinema, playing the roles of Manager and Profesor in Film Direction. In 2008 he founded Laimar Films, his own production company. Produced by Laimar, he shot in 2011 "8 (ocho)" and in 2015 he has produced and shot "Newton's Third Law", his first long feature film.
