Lorna Green's love for filmmaking began as a youth in the Bronx. Finishing high school at 15, she earned a bachelor's in psychology at Hamilton College, where she also worked as a camera operator, editor, and writer. She went on to study at LSU the University of New Orleans, earning an MFA in Communications, awarded with distinction. Her experiences include reading and script coverage, production work, even box office collection. With a girth of production and entertainment experience, Lorna focused on writing and directing award-winning documentaries and narrative shorts. Her honors include Gold and Silver Cindy Awards, Cine Golden Eagle Awards, the Gold Medal Questar, a Special Jury Prize from the International Documentary Festival of Three Continents. She has also been a Sundance Film Festival Semi-Finalist, a Nicholls Screenwriting Finalist, an AFI Directing Women's Workshop finalist, even an ABC DGA TV Directing Fellowship Finalist.
