Ted Ryan is a Massachusetts born filmmaker who attended College of the Holy Cross, where he made his first short "Dishes." Shot, edited, and crewed completely by himself, the picture gained Ted acceptance to Emerson College's School of Visual Arts. While at Emerson, Ted won the 2002 EVVY Award for his screenplay Spacerats Killed JFK, while completing his thesis film, "Jimmy's The Fittest." After completing an internship with Jersey Films in Los Angeles, Ted moved to New York, where he founded Modest House Productions. The company's first picture "John Boorman Stole My Screenplay" was an official selection at the 2004 Long Island Film Festival. As of 2005, Ted's recent short film "Girls In Bathing Suits" has been picked up for distribution by MotionFlicks.Com.
