Bill Einreinhofer is a three-time Emmy Award winning nonfiction producer/director/writer. A member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA), he has developed and produced programming for ABC, CBS, Discovery, HBO and PBS. His most recent project is "Unsettled History: America, China and the Doolittle Tokyo Raid," a one-hour documentary distributed by American Public Television. He was Executive Producer of "Invisible Love," an independent feature film and a China/Vietnam/US co-production. He was the Producer/Director of the one-hour Public TV documentary "Shanghai 1937: Where World War II Began." Released in 2018, it was broadcast on 200 U.S. Public Television stations. It was also bought by international broadcasters in Europe and Asia. He was Host/Presenter and script consultant for "Century Masters," a multi-part documentary series about great 20th cultural figures in China. He conceived and was Executive Producer of "Innovation," the long-running (1985-2004) PBS health, science and technology series. It included "People in Motion" (1995-1996), the first prime time TV series to deal with disability and disability-related issues. He was also Series Producer of "Beyond Beijing," a four-part documentary series tied to the 2008 Beijing Olympics, which was seen in 43 countries. An experienced educator, he is Chair of the Broadcast Journalism department at the New York Film Academy.
