Peter has two decades of experience as a journalist, getting his break on Network Ten in Sydney, Australia, as a sports reporter in the final year of studying media at university. He has subsequently worked with Fox Sports and the Seven Network, as well as writing for a number of outlets. Seeking new challenges, Peter left television to return to his studies, completing his law degree with honours and a masters of international relations at Macquarie University, and followed that with a masters in laws from the ANU. Each of these was completed at a distinction average. While at Macquarie he received the Vice Chancellor's Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning. After being admitted as a lawyer by the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and working in music licensing, Peter returned to his passions of sport and media. Armed with skills for filming and editing to complement his journalism talents, he focused on content creation, working with organisations such as Football Federation Australia and teams such as Sydney FC. Finishing with the Sky Blues after their Premiership/Championship double in 2019-20, Peter is again drawing on his legal skills to tackle the emerging field of cyber security and response. Along with fellow filmmaker Garnet Mae, Peter is also completing the pilot season of a documentary series called Journeys that Changed the World, which follows explorers who ventured into the unknown, shining a light on distant countries and cultures, politics and the past.
