David Allen was born on January 11th, 1987. Growing up in Kettering, Ohio, he would often receive his own shows as assemblies while attending Kettering's Van Buren Middle School. In the shows he would perform various impressions of the school staff and related materials. It was the response from these shows that drove him into doing comedy. In addition to performing Stand-Up at the young age of 14, he also began associating himself with film and television production. While still in school, he landed production projects involving World Wrestling Entertainment and focused much of his energy on design and motion graphics. Those skills are offered forth in most of his projects today. Upon graduating, David Allen joined Jason Hardwick and Alex Mangen in premiering their sketch comedy venture, titled Left of Center. The show premiered theatrically, selling out its engagements, and spun off "viral sensations" that began airing on MTV and CW programming. Since then, Allen has honed his craft, training and performing, at Chicago's The Second City and ImprovOlympic, as well as, famed Los Angeles establishment, The Groundlings. He makes various appearances on television, previously voicing celebrities on the CW show The Daily Buzz, in the midst of Sum 41's Underclass Hero, and in discreet character promos for Playboy.
