Beautiful, young actress Gretchen Eakins is as all American as it gets: blond, blue eyed, and born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Gretchen's mom says she was dancing before she walked; a born athlete who loves gymnastics, swimming, dance, and cheerleading. As a high school junior, she danced her heart out on the fifty yard line at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii with the All American Cheer and Dance Group. She was known for her fierce cheerleading skill and has appeared in American Cheerleader Magazine. After High School, Gretchen studied communications and marketing at The Ohio State University while dancing on The Ohio State University Dance Team. It was there that she finally found her truelove: acting. Shortly after intensive study and private acting lessons, Gretchen was approached by Fox to host "Fox's Kids Club", where she interacted with her young audience by talking about current issues, playing with exotic baby animals, and making them snacks. With a huge teen following, Gretchen was soon asked to do feature stories for the 7 a.m. news in Columbus, Ohio. Balancing a reporting career and college was a breeze for Gretchen who graduated Suma Cume Laude from The Ohio State University. Gretchen was encouraged by her coaches and family to make the move to Los Angeles, and she began booking work upon arrival under the guidance of Brian Reise's acting studios. Gretchen's passions include watching "Buckeye" football, playing with her dogs, eating cake and ice cream, and shopping (of course).
