Brendan Foley

Brendan Foley is a Northern Irish writer-producer with international experience across TV drama, feature films and books. His most recent work as series writer is on Luminoir's 2020 Nordic Noir, Cold Courage, for Lionsgate and Viaplay and the upcoming Man Who Died for streamer Elisa. He also has drama series in development with ZDFE, Blue Ant, Viaplay, and Croton-Huace, variously in US, UK, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Finland and China. His past indie feature films, for Sony, Lionsgate and others, include Johnny Was and The Riddle, starred Derek Jacobi, Vinnie Jones and Vanessa Redgrave, while his books include Random House Top ten Amazon UK bestseller Under the Wire, about WWII's Great Escape. He was previously an award-winning features journalist who covered business, the environment and conflict in 77 countries.
