Greg Gordon Smith

Greg's professional pursuits began at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois where he studied with pianist Larry Novak and composer/arranger Cliff Colnot. At the same time he had the good fortune of working with the city's top-call studio vocalists and performers, with whom he got his start composing and producing in the jazz, R&B and soul genres. After moving to Los Angeles in 2000, Greg began working with veteran film composer Patrick Williams, and produced and arranged a new album for vocalist and former American Idol finalist Justin Guarini. Recently Greg joined with Williams and composer David Levy to form a full-service music production company, Threshold Music.
