Joe Valenti was born in Toms River and has been a life long resident of New Jersey. He developed a love for filmmaking at an early age and produced and directed many short films and videos while growing up. His first feature film titled "Lying Beside You" was a 16 millimeter film which was shot and edited for $17,000. Valenti produced, directed, shot, edited and composed most of the music for "Lying Beside You". At the 2002 Wilmington Independent Film Festival, Valenti was given the Audience Award Honorable Mention for Best Independent Feature Film. The film that won first place had a budget of $1.1 million as opposed to Valenti's minuscule budget of $17,000. After doing a few short films and working at many television stations, Valenti began work on "The Hacking Chronicles" for AT&T. It was originally intended to be one of the first hour long drama formats for the Internet which had a "24" feel to it. In fall of 2007, Valenti and his company Valenti Vision Films was hired to direct, shoot and edit the feature film "The Gentleman" starring Ricky Aiello, Randy Jones and Monica Leigh. Also in the fall of '07, Valenti signed on to direct a Batman fan film titled "The Amazing Adventures of Little Batman". The entire cast was five year old children portraying and paying homage to the 1966 Batman genre. The fan film has gained popular exposure on the web generating tens of millions views for the 26 minute film. The next project for Valenti was "Echelon 8". The action/adventure film once again proves Valenti's ability in taking small budgets and extending them farther than most. "Echelon 8" incorporated many extravagant locations, explosions, car chases, stunts and helicopters. The film was picked up by Screen Venture Media for DVD and VOD release. The film was the first feature to ever air on NBC's New York Nonstop channel in the summer of 2010 and was the ABC Late Night Movie of the Week and CW Afternoon Movie of the week in October of 2013. In January of 2011 Valenti became the producer and director of "All Night with Joey Reynolds", a late night talk show for NBC's New York Nonstop. The show originated from the Nadaq Market Site in Times Square, New York. Past guests have included, Danny Aiello, Frankie Valli, Jackie Martling, Pat Cooper and Michael Imperioli. The five-night-a-week talk show originated from the Nasdaq studios in Times Square and ran for three straight months playing host to many celebrity guests and musical acts. "Tales of the Jersey Shore", a documentary series directed and shot by Valenti, aired on PBS owned NJTV and featured a very special one hour episode focusing on Hurricane Sandy. In the summer of 2012 Valenti signed on the direct the kids educational series "Eco Files" where Valenti wrote a few songs for the series. In 2012 Valenti directed, shot and edited the psychological/thriller "The Meat Puppet". The films' budget was a mere $12,000. The film was picked up by TomKat Films and is available at Best Buy, Target, Barnes and Noble and Amazon. Valenti Vision Films has provided over 500 hours of original television programming since 2011 alone for stations including NBC, NJTV (PBS) and Verizon FIOS1. With a talent for executing low budget projects with extremely high production values, Valenti's directing and shooting experience ranges from feature films, commercials, sports, television, documentaries and corporate videos. Valenti Vision Films also is equipped with "Vision 1" and "Vision 2", the HD Mobile Production Units, built by Valenti himself, capable of covering multi-camera live concerts and sporting events. "Vision 1 & 2" have done events originating in over 28 states. Valenti has directed many US Soccer tournaments, games as well as all of Louisville FC's USL home games in 2015 and 2016. In 2016, Valenti will begin his next projects, another feature film and television pilot.
