Melissa Rebronja

The Belgrade born, Canadian songstress has spent most of her life in Toronto, Ontario with five years in Vancouver, British Columbia in order to focus on her art. Since then she has been writing prolifically and has developed a large body of work, culminating into the creation of her debut album Embrace Yourself, released in November 2003. She released two radio singles; "Beautiful" and her own version of Oasis's song "Wonderwall" that made the Top 50 on-line charts. Melissa is also known as Emar in her world music releases where she sings in multiple languages. Her acting debut started with "The Workshop Junkie" - an independent short film shown at Vancouver's International Film Festival in 2000, also regularly featured on CBC Television in Canada, where she played the role of "Charlene". Since then she has worked on a few Canadian independent films, including her brief appearance as "Monica" in Michael Parker's Lunch with Charles (2001) starring Sean Lau, Theresa Lee, Nicholas Lea, and Bif Naked. Melissa has an associate producer credit for "The Workshop Junkie".
