Nick Tatham

Nick Tatham has been hooked on playing and listening to music since a tender age; whether reciting what music he's heard or even composing his own songs. Nick has suffered from the condition Tourette Syndrome since birth, something that has impaired his quality of life yet this brave young man still strives to fight off the effects of the condition to try and live a normal life. After months of therapy and medical appointments, Nick's only cure was found: music. Although the condition can never be cured in the literal sense (it can only be controlled through medication), when Nick sings or composes music, his whole body changes and he never shows any signs of being a Tourette Syndrome sufferer. In recent years Nick has improved immensely, and his friends and family hope that this progress will continue over the next few years. In the summer of 2004, Nick was cast as one of the lead roles in Richard Booth's Live for the Moment, a 90-minute feature film in which he portrayed a character just like himself. Since the release of the film he has received critical acclaim for his emotional and realistic performance; yet another string to Nick's creative bow. Nick's lust for life and passion for music has done nothing but increase over the past few years, which leads many to believe that he will soon be rewarded with a record contract and his career in music will take a huge step forward. We might even see Nick on the silver screen again in the near future - those who have seen Live for the Moment hope so, that's for sure.
