Eric Ekman

Eric Ekman is an award-winning editor and director. His career started when he directed independent web-series Gary's Garden. From there, he edited the feature film Dead Dad (Florida Film Fest, Woodstock, Tallgrass Audience Award, Spokane International Best Feature) and short film The Babysitter Murders (Fantastic Fest, Stanley Film Fest Winner Jury and Audience Award). His experience also spans to music videos, most recently working on The World Ender by Lord Huron (Vimeo Staff Pick) and Straight Outta Oz by Todrick Hall (with Amber Riley). His documentary work includes Mad As Hell (Hot Docs Conscious Media Award Winner) with Andrew Napier, and short D.I.Y., "...a conversation with prominent filmmakers [including Christopher Nolan and Rian Johnson] about the risk and reward of being an independent filmmaker".
