Troy Scott

Troy A. Scott was born in Jamaica and grew up in Toronto, watching movies of all genres in Toronto's iconic theatres, like the Uptown, University, and Coronet. "I am not a genre snob", says Troy, "There are many great archetypal stories in all genres." After his film degree at University of Waterloo, Troy attended Vancouver Film School and then joined the Directors Guild, working as an AD for over a decade. As a Director, Troy is simultaneously a technician and authentic storyteller, who values diversity and the art of collaboration.
