Peter Waal

Peter Waal is an award-winning writer, director and creative producer. He has made more than 150 hours of television and received five Canadian Screen Award nominations, winning Best Reality Series for the first season of The Cupcake Girls. Peter started out as a magazine writer with Equity, Canadian Business and Saturday Night. His most recent series include: Bud Empire (coming soon on History), Finding Escobar's Millions (Discovery) and Facing (NatGeo). He is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada.
