Mr. Ableman is an highly acclaimed leader in message-based arts & entertainment, where his life and work have been heralded in publications such as the LA Times, CNN, NY Times, MTV, HBO, Climate Reality Project and the SF Examiner. He was also named one of the "Top 100 Creatives" of 2015 by Origin Magazine. Ableman has worked with some of the most innovative artists and luminaries of our generation, including Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Joan Baez, Earth Guardians, Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith, Vandana Shiva, Cheech Marin, Q'Orianka Kilcher and is a sought after entertainer around the globe. Aaron is CoFounder of BALANCE Edutainment ad Imagination Heals, the originator of the award-winning Pacha's Pajamas story, and an ambassador for caused-based brands. He is a United Nations award-winning artist, working with UNESCO and Forest Nation on global environmental initiatives and acting in numerous videos for on-line viral distribution. Timeline: 1981: Born Aaron Ezra Ableman; father, Michael Ableman, and mother, Donna Williams. 1982-90: Formative years spent on a landmark urban farm called "Fairview Gardens", which set national precedent for the preservation of small farms in the USA. The documentary about the farm Aaron grew up on, "On Good Land: An Autobiography Of An Urban Farm", was narrated by Meryl Streep. 1990-2000: A frequent star in annual stage shows as a child actor, recognized since high-school as a distinguished producer, actor and writer in the fields of music, literature, film and education. 2000-2004: Ableman wrote & composed musicals under the tutelage of Stanford theatre buff, Ian Cummings, with Nina Simone's producer, Charles Ellison, (Concordia University) and at the renowned Esalen Institute with actress/master teacher, Paula Shaw. 2002: Creative director and producer with renowned Canadian Arts-Education organization Music Mind Movement & Kalmunity Vibe Collective. Played an "EXTRA" in the film, "LEVITY", featuring Morgan Freeman and Billy Bob Thornton. 2005-2006: After university, he traveled as an artist-ambassador and educator reaching 10,000 orphans and low-income school children in the villages of Mumbai and Varanasi, India. 2007-2009: Consulted with arts-education organizations across Canada and the USA, Ableman founded an urban festival series bringing top scientists together with artists, athletes, businessmen and leaders to share cross-discipline solutions to global and community ills. 2010: Asked to be Executive Producer for the Clean Energy Tour, a statewide "Get Out The Vote" music tour backed by 120 organizations, reaching over 200k youth on 8 college campus'; the renowned director, James Cameron, read a message written by Aaron on behalf of the youth and the biosphere. 2011: In the wake of the Haiti earthquake, Aaron was invited to travel to Port Au Prince to advise a food security initiative by employing music and storytelling as a way to give voice to marginalized communities in the challenging rebuilding process. 2012-2014: CoFounded BALANCE Edutainment and registered Pacha's Pajamas with the Library of Congress, winning 10 awards for this production, which features over 70 artists of 4 generations (including Mos Def and Cheech Marin). 2015: Won the global youth music video award for "Speak For The Trees" with the Earth Guardians youth NGO and honored by the United Nation's @ "COP21" (the global Conference of Parties convening on climate change in Paris). Aaron performed 11 concerts across England, Spain and France. 2016: Awarded "Official Film Section" @ the Hollywood Film Festival and "Rainforest Film Festival" @ South By Southwest for viral animated short "World's Wildest Evolution Of Dance". As an artist-ambassador with UNESCO, Aaron produced the global tree-planting anthem, entitled "Forest Nation", which has 8 remixes by groups around the world, including Ethiopian pop star "Betty G".
