Michael Cliett is a four-time Prime Time Emmy nominated Visual Effects Supervisor, Producer, and Artist with 20 years of visual effects experience in high end TV, film, and video games. Michael has recently added the title of TV Director to his resume, having directed an episode of The 100 (S7); the long running WB TV/CW series. In addition to directing a pivotal episode of the show's final season, he supervised the visual effects for the season. Michael has supervised and produced the effects for a total of 6 seasons of The 100. Michael has a rare mix of talent as an artist and as a producer. A combination that makes for a great team leader in the demanding world of visual effects. Often personally drawing concepts for new worlds, or finishing visual effects work if needed, Michael is a natural storyteller and creator at heart, with the ability to envision projects from start to finish. Based in Vancouver, Canada, Michael's experiences have taken him around the world, from Hollywood to Bollywood, London to South Africa, creating a network of global talent and connections along the way. A trend that started in his youth with plenty of international travel as part of his life experience helping him to form a global mindset. This global outlook and network of connections contribute to Michael's ability to work successfully with artists around the world and produce great work on time and on budget.
