He is a film director/ producer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. His works are mostly documentaries & commercials. Started working in the industry in 1999, he works his way up from writing TV Program & production works to establishing his own production company in 2003. His creative agency, Spin Productions, is creating brand movie, commercials & TV Program for broadcasting in global network. Since 2007 he is working with global partners & some of his works has been broadcasted in USA, UK, Germany, Hong Kong, Australia & Singapore. Since 2012 he is invited to national events as speaker about entrepreneurship & creative industry. His documentary movie titled "Persona" (released in 2012) has been watched by more than 60.000 people during screenings in Indonesia & Philippines. Produced in 6 years process, from 2006 to 2012, sharing a story about Indonesian stage scene through the life of Rita Matu Mona, a renowned actress of Teater Koma, a single mom with 2 kids. The movie follows her on & off stage, struggling and making it through. The movie received nominations as best documentary movie in Maya Trophy Festival 2012 & Denpasar Film Festival 2013, with publications in TV, print & online media. The movie is available to watch with English subtitle in two OTT Platforms: Bioskop Online & Goplay Indonesia. His 2021 documentary movie titled "Gesturing Notations" shares a story about Nano Riantiarno, an Indonesian theatre director, a living legend artist. Nano & his theatre troupe, Teater Koma, is the voice of the nation, critiquing Indonesian government & suggesting better options through the means of theatre. This movie is 8 years in the making (2012-2020), compiling over than 150 hours of rare footage about Nano, his family and his theatre troupe. The movie with English subtitle is available to watch in Bioskop Online. On 31 March 2022, Sayaka Press published his book titled "Drama: About Us". This book completes his trilogy on the art of acting. The book is distributed nationally, as well as donated to public libraries around Indonesia & Indonesian embassies around the world. He is living in Jakarta, Indonesia. He loves to do sport, especially biking & swimming. He loves nature & his greatest interest is people.
