Scott Buzz was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and has had a passion for movies for as long as he could remember. He recalls watching old black and white films with his mother as some of his earliest child hood memories. At 23 years old Scott decided to make his dream become a reality. In order to become a film maker, Scott packed his things and moved to Hollywood. Shortly after his arrival he began working for Carocio Pictures, producers of all the Rambo films, and started taking production classes at UCLA. In his first production class Scott learned to break down scripts and plan budgets. By the end of the semester his professor was so impressed with his work he offered Scott a job on his first feature film. On the set of "K-9," starring James Belushi, Scott learned about production sound while working as a Sound Assistant, 2nd boom operator. Following "K-9," he was hired in preproduction to work on the film "Fire Birds" starring Nicholas Cage and Tommy Lee Jones. He worked close with Producer Bill Badalato and Director David Green learning about pre-production and putting together a cast and crew. During production Scott moved to locations where he had a crew of 25 military police at his side during filming at Fort Hood, Texas. Over the years Scott has worked on many other films such as "Soap Dish" with Sally Field and Kevin Kline, "An Inconvenient Woman" with Jason Robards, "The Public Eye" with Joe Pesci, "Mom and Dad Save the World" with Terri Gar, and "Army of Darkness" with Sam Rami, the director of "Spiderman." In between films Scott also worked for The Video Research Corporation as a tape operator on "Cops" and "Showtime at the Apollo" learning the craft of editing. In 1994 Scott returned to Las Vegas, he made his first documentary "Las Vegas Gambling on Water," which showcased one mans effort to put an end to the draught in Las Vegas. Scott later made five other short films: Lament, A Soldiers Faith, Dark Romance, My Fathers Watch and The Bath Ring. His films have played at various film festivals such as the Dam Short, The High Desert, The New York, and Los Angeles Film Festivals where they have won numerous awards. Scott has just finished up the feature documentary "Vegas Knights".
