Fabio Scarselli

Graduated in Oriental Languages at Istituto Universitario Orientale in Naples with a dissertation on Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature, after his university studies, he won a scholarship to study cinema at Beijing Film Academy in China, where he followed the courses of Screenwriting, Movie direction and Chinese Cinema History. At the end of the courses at Beijing Film Academy he wrote, produced and directed a movie called "Dove l'occhio non vede". In 2001 he joined the EMAM (European Master in Audiovisual Management) completing the programme with an internship at Angeli Movie Service in Rome where he worked as a coordinator for the Media Plus projects. With this experience he gained a very deep knowledge about the Media Plus Program. At the end of the internship he had another internship at "Fine Line Features" in London where he worked as an Assistant Buyer for eight months. At "Fine Line Feature" he reached a very good understanding of how an American distribution company works. In November 2003 he joined Lady Film, Italian film distribution company based in Rome, where he was Acquisitions and PR Manager. He worked in this company for few years.
