Brad Theissen

Author, publisher, DVD producer, on topics related to Crystal Meth, HIV/AIDS, and GLBT Human Rights. Now residing in Hollywood, with upcoming research junkets planned for western Europe in 2007-2008. In the 1980s, Brad pioneered public access cable TV, providing weekly programming on cable systems in Minneapolis, St. Paul and a dozen suburbs. GAZE-TV, and its successor Green And Yellow TV, was a news magazine featuring field reports, live coverage of events, and on location interviews, winner of two Minnesota Community Cable Television Awards. In the later 1990s, Brad pioneered Internet audio and video streaming. Graduated from Mankato High School 1968, Mankato State College 1972. 16mm film editor and cameraman at KEYC-TV, and on-air newscaster at KYSM-AM/FM, Mankato. In Minneapolis during the 1980s, Brad was Head DJ at The Gay 90s for 10 years, responsible for sound, lights, and video programming in 9 show rooms of the largest nightclub in the Twin Cities.
