Hard working. Dedicated. Passionate. Lou Lentino-Rodriguez grew up in Bay Shore, New York. By the age of three, Lou already knew he wanted to be an actor. His mother, Arlene Lentino is Italian and his father, Luis Rodriguez, is from the Dominican Republic. This has given him a very unique, yet versatile look to play many different characters. Lou often says more with his eyes than his words. Gifted with a face full of animation, he once had a cast member say that watching him was like watching a human cartoon. After graduating high school, he hit the streets of Manhattan to start his acting career. Encountering many scams, rip-offs and con-like classes, he immersed himself into the theater, where he would spend years perfecting his craft. After many years of hard work, odd jobs and even stand up comedy, Lou got together with some friends from the theater and wrote, directed and produced four short films. They won two Gold Remi awards and one Bronze from the Houston Film Festival. In 2018, Lou landed his first co-starring role on Gotham, then The Blacklist and High Maintenance. Since then, Lou also landed guest and co-starring roles on Blue Bloods, The Deuce, For Life and Billions. Lou's memoir is in it's final stages and he hopes to have it published by 2022. " Acting is like a disease for me. I don't know when or if it can ever be cured. All I know is that if I had to stop, it would surely kill me."
