Ronald "Ron" Marks is a 35-year veteran of the U.S. national security and cyber community. A former CIA official, Ron was a clandestine service officer and a Senate Liaison for five DCI's. He went on to serve on Capitol Hill as Intelligence Council to Senate Majority Leaders Robert Dole and Trent Lott. Ron maintains his involvement with intelligence and related cyber matters as a member of various Intelligence Community advisory groups both in and outside the government. A published author of numerous national security related journal articles and op-eds, Marks has also written the well received book "Spying In America in the Post 9/11 World: Domestic Threat and the Need for Change" (Praeger). Marks also serves as an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University and on the Exec Council of Auburn University's Center for Cyber and Homeland Security.
