Well known senior journalist and currently a Film Producer, Maann Singh who is born in Jaun Pur Uttar Pradesh is now renowned name in Bollywood and the world of journalism. He has produced hit movies like 'Gunehgar', 'Jurmana', 'Raja Bhaiya', 'Krishanavtar' 'Kranti Kshetra', 'Chess: The Trap of Death', ' Why I killed Gandhi?'. His upcoming movie 'Nanak Naam Jahaz Hai', which is considered the biggest title of Punjabi Cinema. Apart from films, he had also produced the TV Serial 'Aashiyana', which aired on Doordarshan (DD National) and was the No 1 TV Serial on the channel with the highest TRP. He started his career as a journalist and wrote articles for India's top publications like the Times of India, Hindustan Times, and Anand Bazar Patrika Group. In addition to the above, he also wrote stories and poems in hundreds of other publications of India regularly. He continued his zest for writing even after becoming a Film Producer. Written in the same time period, his five main novels are 'Ret Ka Mahal', 'Phir Lautati Zindagi', 'Sapno Ki Talaash', 'Aaina Zakhmon Ka' and 'Meri Tutu'. He is being Awarded 'Kalashree' Award, 'Vishisht Samman' Award from Khajuraho International Film Festival and ' Hindi Cinema Gaurav' Award from International Media & Entertainment Industry for his contribution in films journalism.
