The world met Jason Dottley in 2008 when he starred as "Ty WIlliamson" in Sordid Lives: The Series in 16 countries around the world with Rue McClanahan, Caroline Rhea and Olivia Newton-John. After starring on TV, there was another dream Dottley had, to have a hit record. Over the past 4 years, Dottley has had 3 Top 25 Billboard records, 1 UK Top 10 Dance hit and as of the summer of 2013, Dottley just finished an 11-week run on Billboard with "It's Our Night" which became his first UK Top 20 Pop hit single. All records combined, Dottley has spent 44 weeks on Billboard's Charts. Dottley is also an award-winning theatre producer. He won the most prestigious Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle "Best World Premiere Play" Award for producing Del Shores' "Yellow." He has produced and starred in major national tours with icons Rue McClanahan, Delta Burke, Caroline Rhea and Georgette Jones. His stage work began professionally in Terrence McNally's "Lisbon Traviata" in Los Angeles. His performance was tagged "Letter-perfect" by the LA Times. He starred in a nine month run of "Sordid Lives" in Los Angeles, later starring in its national tour, all to incredible critical review. In 2015, Dottley is busier than ever preparing to film a feature titled "Husband-In-Law" in late summer, touring a 40+ city tour with his first full length one-man show "Life on the Gay-List", and releasing his fifth official single, a cover of Madonna's iconic love ballad from the 80's "Crazy For You."
