Leigh Ledare

Seattle-born photographer and video artist Leigh Ledare studied literature and creative writing at the University of Washington and was involved professionally with the skateboarding scene.Staying with his brother in San Diego to help nurse him for a year and a half through a crisis, Ledare had gotten in touch with director Larry Clark in 1998 and ,as an aspiring 20 year old, lworked with him for several years after the filmmaker's long time assistant had left.
