BRAD WINDERBAUM (Producer) is a production & development executive at Marvel Studios. He joined the Marvel Universe during production of the company's first feature, "Iron Man" and was most recently Executive Producer on the 2017 blockbuster, "Thor: Ragnarok" starring Chris Hemsworth and Cate Blanchett, and directed by Taika Waititi. Before that, he co-produced the 2015 global hit, "Ant-Man," starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, and directed by Peyton Reed. During his tenure with Marvel, Winderbaum spear-headed the Marvel One-shot program, serving as Executive Producer on several short films, including "Item 47," "Agent Carter," and "All Hail the King." He helped develop the studio's growing continuity exploring the interconnectivity throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and created behind the scenes documentaries and interactive campaigns for "Iron Man 2," "Thor," "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Marvel's The Avengers." Winderbaum's career path to Marvel began in Rockland County, New York, where, as a youngster, he first became interested in comic books and science fiction movies. While earning a BFA in Studio Art from NYU, he spent his time creating large-scale drawings of parallel worlds and staging underground theatre productions. Winderbaum went on to receive an MFA in Film Production from USC. In 2007, Winderbaum became a pioneer in the online space by creating a forum for interactive dramas called "itsallinyourhands," in which the choices of the characters were decided by the viewing audience. His sci-fi thriller, "Satacracy 88," which he wrote and directed, received an Emmy® Award for Outstanding Broadband Drama and a Webby People's Choice Award for Best Film and Video Dramatic Series. The second season earned a Daytime Emmy nomination (for Outstanding New Approaches Daytime Entertainment) the following year.
