Josh Mapleston

Josh Mapleston is a screenwriter, script producer and script editor. Josh is a co-creator, script producer and writer on the new young adult series 'Surviving Summer'. The series is being produced by Werner Films for ZDF and Netflix. He is also developing his own Sci-Fi series. In 2019 he wrote an episode of season 4 of 'Doctor Doctor' and co-wrote an episode of 'Seachange'. Josh created, wrote and starred in in ABC's music comedy 'I Rock'. Most recently he has written on Nine Network's 'House Husbands', Network Ten's 'The Wrong Girl', ABC's 'Tomorrow, When the War Began', Netflix's 'Beat Bugs' and 'Motown', and ABC's Logie and International Emmy nominated series 'Ready for This'. Other television credits include, script editing and writing on Matchbox/NBCU's 'Maximum Choppage', ABC's 'Dance Academy' series 1 and 3 and TVNZ's 'Shortland Street', and writing on Channel 7's 'Home and Away'.
