Andy Glynne is a triple-BAFTA winning director, producer and author. He is currently the Managing Director of Mosaic Films and MoMo Studios, and is is the former CEO of One World Media, the UK's charity to support the coverage of the developing world in UK Media. Andy initially trained as a clinical psychologist, and became involved in documentaries around 15 years ago, when he founded the Documentary Filmmakers Group, the UK's former national documentary training organisation. He has directed and produced over 50 films for broadcasters both in the UK and overseas, earning many awards, including most recently BAFTAs in 2010 and 2012, and a further BAFTA in November 2016. He has been instrumental in creating specific strands for new filmmakers for British Television as well as creating projects for new and emerging filmmakers in India, Africa, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, and Poland. He is author of the book Documentaries and How To Make Them - a core resource for all aspiring documentary filmmakers - now in its 2nd Edition, is on the Board of Directors for the European Documentary Network, and acts as a consultant and tutor for organisations both in the UK and around the world.
