Alveraz Ricardez has appeared in several hit TV shows, including "Lucifer (2020)", "The Politician (2019)", and "Grace & Frankie (2019)". Alveraz earned his B.A. in American Literature and Culture at UCLA, and is a graduate student at Pepperdine University, studying clinical psychology. He started his career as a screenwriter in 2000, and moved to Los Angeles after signing with ICM in 2005. He would later switch over to acting full time in 2017. He is co-producing his latest pilot with the producers of Netflix's, The Umbrella Academy. His screenplays have been finalists and semi-finalists at Austin Film Festival, Tracking-B, and Cinequest Film Festival. A former acting coach, Alveraz has studied under several prestigious acting teachers in L.A. and continues to study his craft between acting jobs and graduate school. He is a national member of the Television Academy, a judge for the UCLA masters screenwriting program, as well as a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. Alveraz is practicing Buddhist, and lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons. He was born in San Francisco, raised in San Diego, and lives in Los Angeles.
