Nick Machado

Nick Machado was born South of Boston in Taunton, Massachusetts to Sandy, a secretary, and Richie Machado, a fisherman, barber, and nightclub doorman. He is of Portuguese descent (father and mother). Nick moved to Southern California when his mother remarried, spending his adolescence influenced by the rampant punk and surf culture of Huntington Beach. A veteran surfer, it wasn't until a fellow surfer and friend caught a break in the film business that Nick was granted greater access into the entertainment industry where his long-time interest in film bred his passion for acting. He is a fan of independent, classic and foreign films, admiring the odd quirky work of gritty character actors. Apart from film and theatre, Nick also has an extensive background in apparel design.
